| Gould Allison “My Goal is to explore the unknown by cultivating the emergent through abstract images and vibrant color. Freedom, hope, and discovery are all elements of this spiritual journey.” Gould Allison got a late start as a painter. Initially his work was more expressionistic and reflected traditional themes. This later evolved into abstraction, a journey from which he would never return. From the very beginning intensity and vibrancy have denoted his work. Allison’s recent works reflect an optimism and suggest perhaps a more spiritual direction. The imagery continues to be energetic and action oriented resounding in a symphony of color. |
